1997 E350 Stock Ride height

I've got a 2WD 1997 E350 Crestline Ambulance. The angle of the front tires and the rake of the truck makes me believe that the front springs are saggy. I've recently acquired a set of new front coils off another E350 Ambulance.

The question I have is, how far has my front end sagged... How much space is there before the "axle" hits the bump stop?

I've got about 1.75" before the bump stops hit. The chamber angle is a reflection of the sag, but I'm wondering how much lift the new "stock" springs will provide... and if it will level out the rig.

I haven't measured, but that sounds about like my E350 with 139k miles. I'm shocked at how little suspension travel there is up front.

Mine has about 250k miles on it, and I suspect the front springs are beat... about 195k of that was as an Ambulance. The replacement springs I've got were off a 2001 that was wrecked right after the front end was all redone... they've still got the P/N stickers wrapped around them.

Had a closer look in the daylight. The higher side is only about 1.25" and the lower side is about 1".
