1997 Land Rover Discovery, built for the most extreme off road conditions and with 90+k original miles overall & only 5k miles on freshly rebuilt engine (built by Will Tillery at Roverguy.com in Danville VA, the heads were machined etc) ready to tackle anything thrown its way.

The vehicle is equipped with a 5" RoverTym suspension lift, Bilstein shocks and associated drive line components (double carden joint front drive shaft and rear trailing arms). The drive train is equipped with ARB air lockers front and rear (ARB air compressor is mounted under the driver's seat & has attachable air hose for airing up tires etc), heavy duty axles from Great Basin Rovers and heavy duty Rovertym Drag Link and Tie Rod Assemblies.

The Rover sits on four 315/75/R16 Yokohama Geolander MT+ on black steel offset aftermarket rims, & has 5th matching full size spare tire & rim mounted to spare tire carrier with Rovertym offset spare tire mount.

The vehicle is equipped with a Safari Gard Brushguard/bumper, an aluminum front skid plate, & steel cable limb risers which attach from the bumper to the roof rack. Mounted on the bumper is a Superwinch X9000 winch and 3 Hella Rallye 3000 lights, & the winch is powered via a heavy duty solinoid system, & the truck has a fresh 2011 Red Top Optima battery. The rear of the truck is equipped with a Safari Gard rear bumper with aluminum skid plate. The diffs are protected with Safari Gard diff guards and the undercarriage and cats are protected by NRP skid plates and Rovertym rock sliders/nerf bars protect under the doors.

There is plenty of cargo storage up top thanks to the genuine Land Rover Adventure roof rack made exclusively for the Discovery series I, & the rack has a Hella Matador 55w Utility light mounted up high facing the rear. A steel grate system was mounted to the roof rack to allow walking access and storage over the entire roof rack with easy access from the genuine rear ladder.

There is also a detachable steel cargo cage behind the rear seat to keep rear cargo from entering the passenger areas on steep off roading expeditions. The body panels and paint are well worn with dents and scratches from off-roading, but she shines up quite nice (It would be a shame for a truck like this to have perfect paint).

Rover has 2 power sun roofs, at, cold ac, heated seats, leather interior, factory stereo with factory 6 disk-disk changer under pass seat, CB up front with Antenna mounted to spare tire carrier, etc. Most everything that was ever broken or worn on this 4x4 has been replaced or rebuilt as I have gone along in its ownership.

This Rover is exceptionally capable & comfortable off road. I am selling due to expanding family & need to fund a daily driver with more seating.
Current VA inspection sticker.
