1997 LEXUS LX 450 factory lockers front/rear. ARB winch ready bumper with Hella 500 fog lights. Yakima Megawarrior roof rack. 169,000 well cared for miles.
I searched long and hard to find a white with tan interior lx450/land cruiser with lockers to build for adventure travel. Finally came accross this one 4 years ago.
The vehicle has been built and gone thru getting it ready for the adventure I was never able to take it on. It ended up being my wifes driver. This vehicle drives great, feels as it has 40,000 miles on it. If you have driven the late series 80 cruisers you know what I mean. Travels and tracks down the road perfect. It actually does better with the Old Man Emu suspension installed.
The 450 was built as follows:
MAN-A-FRE /OLD MAN EMU 3/2 LEVEL STANCE SUSPENSION SYSTEM. BEST SUSPENSION FOR RIDE QUALITY AND LOOK YOU CAN GET. While installing I went thru the front axle replacing all bearings and seals.
BFGoodrich 295/75/16 tires. 34 inch tall, with about 70% tread left. Tires have been rotated and balanced every 3000 miles. GREAT TIRES for the lx450 load range D.
ARB WINCH FRONT BUMPER WITH HELLA 500 FOG LIGHTS- Works and looks great.
All fluids, and maintenance has been done to beyond specs- the oil is still gold at changing every 3000 miles. Spark plugs installed 10,000 miles ago, as well as brakes. Lockers and transfer case work perfect.
Also had remote start installed, for wife.
The little bit of bad:
Small dent in passenger rear corner at height of window. Was there when I purchased it. Check the last pic. Tough to see have to be in right light.
The "D" on the shift indicator light is out, common thing with cruisers, just didnt want to take the dash apart to fix.
Thats it.
the reason for selling, I need to sell to finance a 60 series project.
I am in Ouray, I will help with shipping, or if you need a place to stay I can get a good hook up at a local hotel here.
Asking $13,700.00
