Jeff
It is a sad day, but the time has come to sell the best vehicle I've ever owned. The only reason I am selling it is to get an rv to start traveling with our young kids.
The 4Runner has 216,XXX miles and will go up a little bit as I still use it for a weekend surf mobile. It has a brand new battery, starter, and alternator. Timing belt was changed at 199k. A Sonoran Steel 1.2 3" lift, new cv joints, external transmission cooler (no strawberry mikshake failures!), and new lowerball joints were installed at 165k. New front brake pads were also installed in the last year.
This has been my Baja expedition rig and daily driver for the last 7 years. Not once have I ever been stuck or stranded. I would not hesitate to drive it to Cabo (again)! It is fully armored with a Savage Offroad steel front Baja bumper with a bull bar, rear Savage Offroad rear bumper with a swing out that holds a second spare and a 5 gallon jerry can, steel sliders, and 4 piece full Savage skid plates. It also has a Warn winch, KC lights, Yakima roof rack, and a steel roof basket. This will take you anywhere at anytime.
It is sitting on BFG KO All Terrains but could probably use some new front tires. Everything works, full power everything, rear differential locker, ice cold air conditioning. While I have had a lot of fun in this vehicle and have taken it all over, it has not been abused and has been maintained. It does have some scratches/Baja racing stripes, front seats have some tears, but I have seat covers on them now, and a few small dents here and there. Don't spend a 6 months and fortune building the perfect expo vehicle, take this one out right now. Asking $9000 or best offer or trade for the right class C rv.
