This one caught my eye, the disaster relief interior of the box would be a much better starting point than a traditional ambulance interior.

Yeah this one caught my eye as I was looking for some other vehicles - for someone wanting to get an ambulance body and later convert to 4x4 this could be a very nice starting point.

Wonder what it would cost to put 4wd in? I also wonder how long the box is. Probably has generator. I could see this in an army green or tan .
I'm trying to talk myself into a completely frivilas project that will cost far more than it could ever be valued.
If someone has expertise in these type projects please PM me.

How handy are you? i.e. is a conversion something you would try to tackle yourself? You can do it in stages as budget and time allows.
