Well I'm the proud new owner of a pristine one owner 1999 Chevy suburban 2500-4x4, with 7.4/454 and 4:10'rear. Got it from a old man in Southern California .

What can you guys recommend for a beefier suspension. Only looking for a few inches of lift but want a tank!

Looks good as is. Why do you want it lifted? The stock suspension is plenty strong, just get some good shocks on there.

IF Monroe has the reflex for the rig, I wholeheartedly recommend them. I have them on most of my rigs. They are awesome shocks for stock lift to a leveling kit lift. nice rig btw

Bilsteins x4...if you're looking for a good HD shock, very few things are better than a set of Bilstein 4600s. My dad has had them on his 3/4-ton Silverado Duramax that we've used for towing our 13,000 pound fifth wheel, and after almost 100K on the shocks they still work just as well as they did when they were new. They may be kinda pricey but they are well worth the investment.
