Hopefully this is the truck you have been looking for. It’s the 99 so it has the upgraded 3rd gen stuff. It’s great on and off road and it’s been thoroughly sorted for almost every detail I could get into. It looks good and the stereo rocks!
I’ve owned the truck for about 5 months. I bought it from a member here that took great care of it and modded it very tastefully. It was well cared for before I bought it and I have enjoyed immensely since I purchased it. The truck is daily driven. It starts, runs and drives extremely well. It has never given me any trouble. The paint is in very good shape for the age with mild scratches from trail driving but it really doesn’t show on the white which is why I bought this color. There are two minor dings in the rear bumper and one on the rear lift gate. The interior is clean with some minor stains in the headliner (who looks up there anyway?) There is some age in the front seats but no tears in the leather. The only thing that comes to mind interior wise is the lumbar button has popped out which is pretty typical for this model and why Toyota relocated it the next model year. The title is clear and is registered/inspection passed in Texas. Truck gets about 17mpg.
The truck was in a minor collision with a retaining wall and ruined the bumper and passenger fender. No frame damage was found so I straightened out the fender and core support as much as I could and built a plate bumper for it.

I have really enjoyed the truck but have decided to go with a FZJ80 Land Cruiser instead (Need the extra space)

*Lifted 3” with Sonoran Steel 7.2 kit professionally installed by Atlanta Custom Creations. Includes tundra coils, ome in back, adjustable panhard, diff drop and all the rest
*Energy poly sway bar bushings
Wheels/tires:
*1996 Landcruiser FZJ-80 Wheels 16x8 with proper backspacing to better clear tires (could run 305s or maybe 315s and flushes tires out to fill limited flares) powdercoated gloss grey by Smoking Gun Powdercoating.
*33” 285/75/15 Cooper STT tires with TONS of tread. Installed and warranted by Discount Tire. These ride nice on the street and do good work off road.
Brakes:
*Tundra front calipers S13WE (the larger ones didn’t seem to add value and didn’t clear the LC wheels
*New Toyota pads in rear
*HAWK HPS front pads
Electronics
*Uniden 520xl CB with firestick and PA speaker
*Fully custom stereo with Alpine Ipod Headunit with Remote, Eclipse 4 channel amp, Premier Seperates in front and rear doors with appropriate adapters custom made and tweets mounted in rear doors. Kicker shallow mount 10” sub under storage shelf in back. Stevie Ray never sounded so good.
*Dynamat in all doors plus everywhere else I chose to put it.
*Hardwired for Sony GPS
*Grey Wire Mod
*f-150 and Landcruiser horns installed
*door chime defeated

*Hella 500 Driving Lights
*SilverStar Ultra High/Low beams
*Led tails
Interior:
*Custom modular storage shelf and sleeping platform made form ¾ ply with anti fatigue mat and carpeted. Comes in two sections so the front can be removed and the rear left inplace. Plenty of room to store gear underneath. Very sturdy and will sleep two pretty comfortably. Built to have rear seats removed so as to make it over 6’ long.
*Led lights in all interior overhead spots
*beaded drivers seat cover so you don’t get monkey butt when it’s hot!
*Husky liners custom mold front floor liners
*mounts for hi-lift jack at very back of interior
Body:
*Yakima Load Warrior with extension
*Mossy Rocks sliders with kick out
*98 style front bumper added for better looks and clearance
*clear turn signals in front
*painted all flares and body cladding flat black
*windows tinted 20%
*extra Toyota tow hooks installed front and rear
*rear diff breather extended to inside gas door
*replaced break-o-matic power antenna with whip style

Maintenance:
All Up to date.
*Full 100kish service done around 90-95k by Toyota including Belts, Hoses, timing belt, waterpump, etc.
*in the last say 20k miles: Tranny fluid, front and rear diffs, transfer case, front and rear brakes, battery, plugs, coolant, tires, both rear axle inner seals. Drivers rear axle outer seal and bearing/etc.
*all synthetic oil since I have owned the last 40k miles
*new wipers including the rear
*repainted roof rack
