1999 4Runner lower ball joint bolt size

So up in the hills today, and stripped out 2bolts of the lower ball joint, and sheared off the other two.

Heading up there tommorow, to see if I can patch it together and crawl it out.

In my haste (and the dark) I failed to grab the broken bits of bolt. Does anybody know the size? I am guessing M8x35ish?? No idea on pitch size.

Ugh, that sucks. How old were the bolts and did you use loctite on them when i when installing them?

The reason I ask that we recently ran the WABDR, and a massive navigational fail detour on harsh rocky ridge roads, in your area and other than popping a tire (I have the 2 ply Duratracks and forgot my patch kit....) I was pretty worried about the bolts backing out on the washboards. I recently replaced my CVs and replaced all (8) bolts because I'm paranoid but the torque value seemed pretty low so it I was still worried. I did use loctite though.
