I'm also going to try and find a way to mount the AirDog a bit higher and potentially make a removable skid plate for it just in case a rock wants to sneak up
There and take out one if the filters. Also here is a pic of my new to me cap that I put on. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1390697521.961942.jpg

Soon to have my bed system installed once I'm mobile enough to cut some wood

There also also some great spots on the fire wall to attack the coils if extra wire in the kitImageUploadedByTapatalk1390697668.031669.jpg

Excited to have my beast running again after almost a month being a lawn decoration

Started my skid plate for the AirDog today, might redesign it a little bit in the future but this will work for now. Also it's just the scraps I had laying around. It's made out of 1/4" 4inch angle iron, I had to layer the welds as well because out 240 outlet was blown so I had to do this with 110 volt

Triple layered welds, ugly, but those will hold a pretty good hit. Think I'm going to weld the nut on the skid so I can just run a bolt through the frame. Probably 1/2 - 3/4 grade 8

Well I got my spacer built for my AirDog so I can raise it up a few inches for safety. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1395280311.529480.jpg
Nothing fancy but it will work
And my truck had a birthday! ImageUploadedByTapatalk1395280396.878003.jpg

Got my AirDog up nice and high now. Might need to trim a little sheet metal but I'll drive it for a little bit and them check for ware. I am happy though, got it up about 4 inches higher

Got some new harbor freight back up lights. Not sure how I'll like the "blue glow" but hopefully I'll at least be able to see while I'm backing up now. And if I rip them off it's only $13.99 for both of themImageUploadedByTapatalk1396739139.286180.jpg

Also got my second Jerry can so I can start building my dual can swing out carrier. I've got some 2x2 angle and 1" square tubing laying around so I'll try and use thatImageUploadedByTapatalk1396739254.174281.jpg

I'm stoked to see you work on the swing out carrier! I'd love to have one on mine, but so many things I want to spend money on :)

Ya, luckily I have most of the metal laying around the shop, and I found some really simple 400lb test hinges for 8$ at my local metal distributed, hopefully all in all I won't have more than a couple hundred bucks in it. And thanks! I'll keep you all posted when I get started

Well, I got the big guy tinted. I've been wanting this for a while after my road trip last year. My wife isn't tall enough for the sun visors to work and the constant maps stuck in the windows was getting old. Hopefully this will help with the problem, and still legal. Here are the before and after picsImageUploadedByTapatalk1397786373.100773.jpg

Just picked up a new to me Westin brush guard for super cheap on CL. No mounting brackets but I'll get those done soon enough. Glad to have a better surface for my future lights. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1399138261.998082.jpg

Sorry for the crappy pic. But I've also slowly been building my swing out and bumper. Just waiting on my flange bearings, and new ny-lock nut. Then it's game time! Think I'll spend a few hours tomorrow, I'll get you guys some picks in the near future

Jerry can holder #1 done! And #2 is at 80%. The first is for my friend and will be hold down by a ratchet strap. Mine will be long ways and will have a metal closure system to protect my precious fuel. Well here are a few pics of the build ImageUploadedByTapatalk1399252292.425186.jpg here is the base tray

ImageUploadedByTapatalk1399252313.877960.jpg
And the surround to help keep the cans in place on those crazy roads
ImageUploadedByTapatalk1399252354.565915.jpg
And fully welded and ground without paint. You can see the grommets for attaching the ratchet straps. Can't wait to finish line and get my bumper built!

Got all my parts for my swing out hinge. Just have to figure out my stop system.

So much pretty hardware! Also got my jerry can locks mocked up. Hopefully I'll get those welded and set next weekend

Went out to the farm today so I can start packing/fixing the trailer. Beautiful rain, sun, and cloudy day in the Oregon springtimeImageUploadedByTapatalk1399774118.940300.jpg

And this is inside our barn, needs a bit of fixing itself ImageUploadedByTapatalk1399774157.278521.jpg
