4.88 gears
(5) Hutchinson aluminum 20" wheels with 355/80/20 MPT81 tires
Swing out spare tire carrier
BorgWarner SXE 363/68 .91 Turbocharger
Bellowed up pipes T4 mount

S&B cold air intake

In the last two years, I replaced both batteries, starter, front shocks, front brake calipers, brake hoses, hard brake lines, water pump, coolant flush, and a new exhaust back pressure valve. The truck is located in Lititz, PA 17543. 33 miles from Harrisburg International Airport.

I've owned this truck for over 5 years. Here is my build thread https://forum.expeditionportal.com/threads/1999-f450-4x4-ambulance-toy-hauler.220418/page-3

I'm selling to help fund building a shop next year. The truck is very versatile and turns heads. I used the ambulance body for one and two-night camping trips to motorcycle enduro races and trials competitions over the last 5 years. The truck also works well for hauling anything that does not fit in my Tacoma. The build was inspired by seeing earthromamers and earthcruisers on a trip out west. I wanted to build a large expedition truck on a budget with more room than my Quigley 4x4 van.

The interior is all stock, a blank canvas for camper build ideas. The interior cabinets and especially the exterior compartments are awesome for primitive camping. I learned a lot building this truck, and I'm proud of how it turned out. I'm ready to pass it on to the next person to continue the build.

Maintenance projects it could use:
It has some rust in the cab corners, the white paint is OK, but not great
The rear air bag system has a very slow leak. I usually top off the Schrader valve every 3 or 4 weeks. The leak is slow, and I never bothered to look for one.
The oil dipstick seal has a small leak
It probably needs glowplugs. It starts instantly in warm weather, but is starting to crank longer in the colder weather. I plug in the block heater if it is freezing.
Needs a good exterior cleaning from being parked outside under trees

The engine upgrades make the truck a pleasure to drive. The extra power makes it feel lighter. I filled the fuel tank today, and the last tank averaged 10.6 mpg with a lot of backroad driving. I'm going to miss this truck. If you are interested, I can do a FaceTime walkaround and startup of the truck. This is the start of the for-sale post. I will add some interior and undercarriage pictures this week.

A few questions
- Suspension - Can you provide more details as you only mentioned airbags so I assume their were more mods based on the tire size
- Photos of the stock interrior
- Does the 7.3 of this year require ULSD and or DEF?
- Is there a pass through from the cab to the back?

Here are some more pictures.
The truck does not have a suspension lift. It does have new front shocks. I installed Bushwacker cutout fender flares to clear the front tires. They are high clearance fender flares, and you remove a lot of material to install them. I also cut out the rear wheel openings to make more room for the tires. The air suspension can be raised or lowered by changing the air pressure in the bags.

The 7.3 power stroke in an early 99. It does not have emissions controls or require ULSD or DEF. Kits are available to run this engine on waste vegetable oil.

There is a pass-through window. Not useful for accessing the cab, but it could be enlarged.

Thanks for the additional suspension information and photos of the inside. One more question do you have dimensions for the inside of the ambulance box and a total outside height?
