What does test the waters mean? Does it mean if you don't get what you want it's ok because you were just checking ? Or if you get the 4500 you probably won't sell? I've just always wondered what ( testing the waters meant) . Not being rude, at least not my intent just wondering?

Hi Happykamper, none taken. I am just gauging interest. The price is very negotiable. I don't want to sell it but if I get a good offer then I might be persuaded.

Are you sure it has the 4.63 gears and not the 4.92 gears? And if I were you I would need a dang good reason to sell it, that is in my opinion the best color scheme and features for both the Montero and the Sport.

Yes this is pretty rare Montero Sport Limited with 3.5liter and 4.636 with rear diff lock like the SRs. I don't want to sell it but running out of parking space with too many rigs.

Just took it to Big Bear to hunt for ❄️.

Wow, nice. My dad had a 97.5? with the 3.0, 5 speed, rear diff, skids, AND great rear tire carrier. 32s from the factory I think too. I love these, if I found a 5 speed I'd buy it.
