Hi folks-
It wasn't an easy decision, but I think it's time to sell my truck. The baby seat doesn't fit in the extracab, and my work requires an open bed. Will trade for a 4x4 quad-cab pickup.
This is a one-of-a-kind vehicle.
Asking $8,000 OBO.
Here's the craigslist ad:

This is a 1999 Toyota Tacoma 4x4 extracab that has been converted to an expedition vehicle. It will take you anywhere you want to go. Most of the features of a Westfalia, and more capable and reliable than a Syncro. Gets 19 MPG on the highway!
I have owned the truck since 2002, and just completed the conversion in September 2010. My wife and I had a baby 8 months ago, so I need something with a real back seat.
I will consider a trade for a 4x4 quad-cab pickup (pref. Tundra or F250 diesel).
Chassis/drivetrain:
180,xxx miles
Original 3RZ-FE 4-cylinder 2.7L 16-valve engine
5-speed manual transmission
4x4
LCE Stainless Steel Header
Engine never modified (other than header)
Oversize deep-cycle/starting battery
Alloy wheels, 235/85R16 BFG T/A tires (~32") with good tread
All maintenance records
Eaton/Detroit Truetrac limited-slip rear differential
4.56 gears
No suspension lift (added two extra leafs to each rear leaf pack, required to support camper weight)
Factory manual locking hubs
Cruise control
Dakota Digital speedometer calibration
Body:
Custom front and rear steel high-clearance bumpers, with recovery points
Custom rock sliders
HID off-road lighting
Mounts for Hi-Lift, Axe and Shovel (tools included)
Pull-out galley at rear, with running water electrically fed from 12-gallon fresh water tank. Built-in sink, cutting board, cutlery tray and camp stove.
On-board air compressor
Lockable tool compartments
Camper frame built from square tubular steel, with .063 aluminum sheet skin sikabonded and riveted to frame. The aluminum skin is tough!
Camper features sheet-foam insulation and plywood interior paneling.
Flat load floor in camper is 5' wide and 6' 5" long, more than large enough for a full-size mattress.
Interior:
SR5 package with privacy glass
BMW power leather seats (makes a huge difference on long trips)
iPhone dock
Disclosures:
Original clutch
Slow oil leak from front of engine
