Fire wall - passenger side.
We do not recommend it locating it at the same location as stock.
Too many reports of the spot welds breaking in that area - with all that extra weight.
^ both are the Optima Yellow Top group 34/78 batteries.
I moved the cruise control bracket forward a coupla' inches.
And built a beefy Aux. battery hold-down, secured to the fender well.
Also modified my original bracket for the house battery.
Dell's mount will be the one I will model against... when I finally work on my dual system... next year
If your heart is to mount together... there are posts of people that just modified that area to be stronger.
By making up a battery tray that is triangulated and bolted to the frame of the truck.
That will remove the majority of the stresses on the fender from the two batteries.
