Very interesting lifestyle, all the best to you guys. Just curious, how do you deal with things like aging parents and their needs? How do you guys plan for future events like your own retirement?
We did purchase a house and land in Guatemala, it's kind of our 'retirement' plan.
We haven't had to deal with aging parents yet, but we have thought about when that time comes. My father passed away, my husband's parents are divorced. Our mothers are only in their 50's, so we have some time still My mom is actually coming to Costa Rica to hang out with us.
Sounds like you guys have thought through alot of it. Your lifestyle is very intriguing and at times the thought of doing something similar is appealing. The #1 thing that would probably hold me back is aging parents and other relatives. I just cant cut them lose to fend for themselves and cant deprive them of not seeing their grandkids for long stretches.
