I've back-scored plate before with ok results, but would like a more precise method.

Haha, no rear bumper yet, just finished up the front today. As for the bends, I have a swag off-roads 20" press brake and for anything bigger I scribe the back with a cut off wheel. It was getting dark so I couldn't get much pics but here are a few.

The grill guard would have to change for the tundra because the grill opens with the hood.

So the bumper weighed in at 105 lbs. I haven't checked what others weigh but I think that is pretty good. And it is very stout. Even though it is only 10 ga I added gussets and supports where needed.

Phenomenal looking bumper! I think 105lbs is fantastic! For reference, my aluminum bumper is 70-75lbs and most steal options for my 4runner were 150lbs. If I had a 100 series id be giving you a call.

Thanks, that's good to hear. I was hopping to cut about 30 to 40 lbs from a standard plate bumper. I tested out the winch today and with the brakes locked up I was able to drag the cruiser with all 4 tires locked. The bumper did not move or flex at all! I'm going to get pics of how I did the gussets on the winch plate and wings.

I put gussets on both sides of the winch bolts and added a 1 1/2 square from the outside of the wings to the frame and then some little plates from the bottom of the wings to the 1 1/2 square.
