I saw this in the parking lot for sale tonight. Really nice rig. Low miles and really clean. I thought it was a little expensive but I am a Toyota guy so don't really know what these are worth. It has 37000 miles. Euro spec. Lhd. Here are some pics. The guy says only emails on his sign.

How is this legal? I think there are a couple years you can import newer than 25yrs old if the importer brings it up to spec which may be indicative of the ridiculous high price. (Also has the safety devices cage) But I thought they had to be the petrol versions of the same year which they were sold here in the States since the EPA rule is 20yrs for a non US certified motor vehicle engine. One leans to believe it is an illegal import almost...

I think he may be a land rover dealer. But again I have no idea just thought someone on here my like it. It did have CO plates.

I gotta chime in on this because I have a buddy who has a 1992 tdi that started out being aa yellow 90 that he had painted gun metal grey and over the course of a few years being what he claimed to be a 2012 from importing parts from newer models, but being a rover enthusiast I thought it looked more like a 2002...only because of the dash that he had installed. What the seller more than likely did was import parts over time to bring to 2000 spec. Hood, doors, grill, wheels, interior etc... none the less its bad *****...idk about $100k bad ***** but pretty sweet!!!
