As I continue to make room for a new project, I have a 2000 Ford Excursion Limited 4x4 with 7.3 power stroke for sale. Fully loaded, Leather, rear ac, 3rd row seat, brake controler, tow packege, tinted windows. New BFG all terrains, New Rotors and pads front and rear, New Ball joints, new rear pinion seal, 8 new injectors and glow plugs. 163,000 miles. Looked very hard for a clean truck and this one is very nice. only minimal wear on the drivers seat. everything works as it should. Just makes no sense for me to be driving this back and forth to work right now. Is an excellent tow vehicle/family travel vehicle!! asking $19,500 I will get more photos after the rain lets up! Call me at 804-814-4328 John

Not for 7.3 power stroke. These are really getting hard to come by in unmolested condition with reasonable miles. It took me months to find it when I was in the market. I know one sold here locally for over 20k it had a little lower miles than mine. But same overall condition.

I know..... I am optimistic because of the recent work done and overall condition. Injectors and glow plugs were almost $4k after all said and done!

I know what they have been selling for around here and I am at the upper limit but I had to start somewhere. This is one of those vehicles were KBB is way off. It were a gaser or a 6.0 it would not be worth nearly as much. I know it is a narrow market.

I was looking at 7.3L Excursion prices for about nine months while I waiting for my Sportsmobile to sell. I will say that KBB and Nada prices were not even remotely realistic. I was watching AutoTrader.com, Cars.com, eBay, ExPo, you name it, and just about every Excursion was advertised, and selling, for well over KBB and Nada values, even in this challenging market.

What's a realistic value? That's up to the buyer to decide, and it depends how quickly the seller wants to sell their vehicle. I ended up buying my Excursion just a few weeks ago, and while I paid over KBB/Nada, I think mine was a bargain given it's condition, upgrades and mileage.

my unsolicited $0.02,
Herb

Roverdude, Not looking for any trades right now unless it is a 2012 JK unlimited.....
BroncoHauler, Here on the East coast(in my area) It is difficult to find a rust free, and unmolested EXCURSION. When I was looking I also found Prices From the low teens for beaters, up into the low 20's for super low milage 7.3's. The book values are useless on these particular trucks. I am realistic that it will take the right buyer who is willing to research a bit and put a value on the recent maintenance. The Excursion would probably sell around 17k without all the work just based on the ones i looked at 6 months ago and what is available now. I have spent close to 6k in maintenance in the last 6 months. I am not looking to recover that but it does add value knowing these things have already been addressed.
