@ Tyler, They did pretty well! On the way back I didn't go through Mojave this time though so there was traffic for most of the drive. Didn't get to test them out too much 
Did help me spot a coyote out in the middle of the highway a long ways out though! But no pics yet. Maybe this weekend since its a 3day!
@RPhil, We debated for a while about gluing or not but ultimately decided that 1Billion staples would still be easier to remove than glue'd down carpet if the need arose
@Comanche, I keep going back and forth. I'd like something fixed so everything has a home, but so far I'm just not sure what I'm going to be carrying. Guess I'll keep them wide open for now and possibly add foam inserts or some way to keep track of tools in the short-run.
