--------------------

Good physical condition
  • Rust free
  • One small dent on driver’s door from when the door hit a gas station pillar (no hard crease)
  • Minor chip in windshield
  • Driver’s seat bottom leather is trashed. Installed Cover King front seat neoprene seat covers in Kryptek Wraith pattern (white camo) which does a good job of breaking up the sea of tans and browns in the interior, and complements the white exterior of the Excursion

I have never had the code for the entry number key pad by driver’s door

When starting the Excursion, the “Theft” light will flash for a while on the dash after starting, but then goes out on it’s own. I believe this is part of Ford’s Passive Anti Theft System (PATS)

I have two sets of keys, only one remote Lock / Unlock fob

--------------------

Good running condition

Have used diesel fuel additive (cetane booster) on every fill-up since owning the Excursion

--------------------

Stock running gear

+1 tire size on stock rims, so speedomter is slightly off at freeway speeds

--------------------

Upgrades performed prior to my purchase at 92,000 miles

BTS transmission
Chip (removable if desired)

--------------------

Upgrades since my purchase.
Upgrades were primarily done to maximize longevity of the vehicle

DC Power 185A alternator
Stealth SRP 1.1 High Pressure Oil Pump
Air Dog fuel filter / water separator
Isspro EV2 gauges (trans temp, boost, EGT) in above-mirror mount
Ford 6.0L trans cooler
2005-2007 Ford factory headlights (far superior lighting in my opinion)
18” Diode Dynamics LED light bar in place of factory fog lamps (uses stock fog lamp switch)
Ford AIS air intake system
Sinister Diesel coolant filter
Mishimoto aluminum radiator
RAM Mount cell phone holder
Wilson cell phone booster cradle (older model) and booster antenna on roof

I had the note below in a draft for this ad, but somehow it didn't make it to my actual ad.

NOTE: At one point in its life, this vehicle had a Salvage title. The story as it was relayed to me: The Excursion started out in Colorado, and had roof damage from an avalance. The vehicle was salvaged, and then purchased by Brian Thompson of BTS Transmission. He purchased an entire new body from Ford and moved everything from the first rig over to the new body. I purchased this Excursion in Tennesee (early 2012, based on an ad on Ford-Trucks) from the person who had purchased it from Brian. The current title does not show Salvage, but I wanted to be upfront about this.
