🚑 Vehicle History & Engine Hours Disclosure

This ambulance was originally placed into service on August 27, 2003 and has lived a life of steady, well-documented service. According to the CarFax records, it was serviced approximately every 1,500 miles, with intervals ranging from every four to six months. That kind of regular TLC is rare—even among human beings.

When I purchased the vehicle, the engine hour meter read 2,410 hours. However, the original meter maxed out at 9,999 hours. Given the vehicle’s service history and mileage, I believe the meter rolled over once during its professional life. To keep things honest and clear, I installed a new meter (this one tops out at 99,999 hours—because we plan ahead here) and set it to 12,410 hours to reflect the estimated total.

The current reading on the hour meter is 12,464 hours. Since taking ownership, I’ve added only 1,151 miles and 54 engine hours—a modest amount, reflecting careful and occasional use. I also still have a photo of the original hour meter, if you'd like to verify the numbers.

This rig is powered by the legendary 7.3L PowerStroke Diesel Engine, renowned for its rock-solid reliability and long life. With a consistent maintenance history and full transparency about engine use, this vehicle is a fantastic candidate for continued service, a specialty conversion project, or your next adventure rig.
