The radios in the GMT400 was an early attempt at making them theft proof. They would separate out the equalizer (on models that had one) and place the equalizer ********** in the lower middle of the dash, to the right of the square gauge housing, under (?) The two center vents

We had fun playing with the equalizer. The tape deck could also skip ahead by song and repeat a song which was pretty fancy back then.

Reminds me of my old '94 Sierra Reg Cab Short box 2WD SLE. Was about as loaded as you could get w/ the 350 TBI.

I thought I had an 'after' pic on my phone. This was before I removed the rocker chrome, side trim, wheel well trim, bug deflector, changed the side view mirrors and swapped out the centre caps for smooth ones.



I did have a 4/6 drop for it and a set of 20" smoothies ready to go on but never ended up installing them.



Ended up trading the truck for a '64 Riviera.
