2001 montero xls rim question?

Hi there, im trying to find a good deal on rims, and I was wondering if 15 inch rims, will clear my rotors?

Probably not. About that time most manufacturers were moving toward the 16" and 17" rims in order to have larger brake sets on the vehicles.
 
I actually wanna get steelies for it, what's the exact back spacing? I know they are 6x5.5 but I can't find the back spacing.

OEM are +46 offset so about 5.5" backspace on 7" wide rim. No generic steelies will fit. They wont clear caliper bracket. Many many moons ago I've tried to fit 16" steelies/alloys from my Gen 2 to my Gen 3. Doesn't work. Your best bet is stock wheels.

Your OEM gen 2 steel wheels were 16"? I thought gen 1/2 rims were all 15" from the factory. At least their aluminum ones are, but never saw the gen 2 OEM steel rims...
