Time has come in my life where I need to invest more in my business while also cutting back and simplifying, and so it's time to sell the Tacoma instead of letting it sit if I won't be driving it.
I bought this as an absolutely immaculate (Oklahoma) truck from a forum member here years ago, and used it for a few years in NY, maintaining it as necessary using only OEM parts (which wasn't much, no surprise there). However being in NY for a few seasons has given it some surface rust underneath. There is NO rot whatsoever, no chipped paint, no body rust, it is purely chassis and underparts surface rust. So it's not a "perfect" truck anymore, I won't make any illusions about that. It's still a perfectly solid vehicle though, and I trust it to work every time, and it has not once ever failed to start and work perfectly
Location: Bainbridge, NY
2001 Toyota Tacoma ExtraCab SR5 - white - 166k - body matched Leer cap - tan interior in great shape
3.4l v6, AEM dryflow on K&N tube, magnecor 8.5mm spark plug wires, fresh plugs
5spd manual trans, manual transfer case, auto disconnecting diff (working well)
Smittybilt 8k winch w/ synthetic rope mounted in:
Custom fabricated (can't remember name) steel bumper, heavy and good looking. Freshly epoxy coated.
Icon 2.5" coilover shocks (fresh factory rebuild w/ new springs... had a rattly heim joint so I just had them redone, they were a little soft after time)
Old man emu rear shocks
Dakar rear springs
Rear helper air bags (one mount stripped out at the moment)
15" black steel wheels w/ 33x10.5 BF Goodrich KM2's, maybe 30% tread left
16" factory wheels w/ 265/65r16 Cooper Discoverer M/T Snow tires, 40-50% tread
optima red top, but it's showing it's age
I just had the bumper bead blasted and recoated as it had gotten a little rough looking, so I have to put that and the winch back on and then I'll post pics. In the mean time I'll try to dig up some.
Asking $12,000 serious inquiries only please. No trades.
I'll get pics in the next couple of days if the weather holds out.
