FOR SALE: 2002 Born Free 26RB 4x4 7.3 diesel. $75,000.
Location: Wake Forest, NC

2002 Born Free 26RSB, with a rear bed that you can keep made. 107,XXX miles on a 7.3 that is very happy chugging along. Gauges with trans temp, turbo boost and pyro. DP tuner switch on the fly chip with high idle, stock and 20hp tow tune. Conversion performed by me at Stream RV with Timberline components. 2006 f350 front axle and 2003 f350 NP271. Stock springs front for ride quality with Bilstein shocks, stock rear springs and blocks with Super Spring helpers and Bilstein shocks. Rides great, drives straight, brakes have added capacity with larger front disks and it outperforms a stock E450 chassis. 255/85r17 tires on factory F350 rims with no dually spacer. Rear axle has spacers to convert it to 8x200 mm, factory front dually spacer on axle. I replaced the pitman arm with an F250 arm that is longer, giving it a tighter turning radius than a stock e450.
Timberline uses 2005+ front axles with coil springs unlike Ujoint who uses 1999-2004 axles and leaf springs. I prefer the coil springs and newer axles, but both companies make a premium product.
RV part is in great shape. Propane generator with 23 gallon propane tank, 33 fresh, 29 grey, 21 black. Everything is in great shape and working as intended. 110v/lp absorption fridge stays cold. LP gen pops off immediately without drama. 400w solar, 100AH lithium battery, 30a dc-dc charger. New porcelain toilet.
I am sure I am forgetting things. It is a fantastic RV. Makes beach trips incredible.
We are only getting rid of it because multiple kids make it a little tight.
Known problems – It’s a 23 year old RV from Michigan. It has some surface rust on the rear frame and some other imperfections. Nothing to keep it from getting the job done, but its not new.
Ask me any questions. I am well acquainted with it!
