Seems awfully expensive to me but I am just beginning the journey. I'd love to hear from the experts - if you were pricing it, what number would you use?

Might seem expensive, but have you tried pricing out what it would cost you to build this van? Find yourself a 7.3 van ($10-15k?, I'm not too knowledgeable about 7.3 van prices), add the CCV pop top (easily $20-25k depending on options), get the Quigley 4x4 conversion ($15k, but they won't work on old vans, so if you're looking at a UJOR conversion that's more like $25-$30k) and bolt on all that shiny Aluminess stuff (they claim 20k worth of stuff, who knows if that's true).

So that's $65k on the low end of my numbers, and $85k on the high end. Of course I pulled most of those numbers out of my ass. You can save some money by DIY-ing some of this stuff obviously.

This one has been for sale for at least a year, started at $90k or so. There's got to be much more to this story. Buyer be ware.

From my experience your estimates are pretty spot on. I built my Ujoint van pre covid and did all the labor myself.
