I dunno about the best. There are many options out there and it depends what you like to do and what amenities you want.
I would say an OEV is the best. Four wheel campers are my next choice bc of affordability in the used market.
If you stick to paved roads then I would get a hard sided camper and pass on a pop up version.
The 99-03 Ford trucks are pretty pathetic for rated weight carrying capacity. It doesn't take much before you are technically overweight. The newer trucks seem to have much better ratings.
