Testing the waters on my 02 Ford F350 Cab and Chassis truck. I'm the second owner, picking it up from the wife of a rancher who special ordered the truck from the Ford dealer in Laurel Montana. He used it for hauling hay and cattle.

$20,000 or best offer. Do not need to sell it but I don't drive it very much. Deserves to be used as God intended!

I understand this is a fairly unique truck. Marti report is below.

It's a cab and chassis so the wheelbase from cab to rear axle is 60". The rear frame is also flat and narrower than a typical truck, standardized for service bodies. I think it's 34" and this dimension is what Dodge, Chevy, GMC, and Ford use in trucks like this. The rear suspension on this thing is beefy. I think it's stouter than a standard F350 but cannot get specs. I know the spring packs and the overload are different.

It's a factory single rear wheel. It has a 7.3 Powerstroke with 179,XXX miles. It has a manual ZF6 transmission. It is a 4x4 with manual locking hubs and a manual t-case. It's a supercab with bench seat and XLT trim. The wheels are a factory option.

Truck runs and drives really well. I had to replace the driver's rear caliper soon after I got it but she stops great now. Recently had the glow plugs, glow plug relay, under valve cover gaskets and under valve cover harness replaced with original Ford parts. They also rebuilt the cold weather warm-up thingie in the turbo pedestal. I run Schaefers 15w40 in the engine. Recently changed tranny / tc case fluid, front and rear diff fluid, and I did a complete brake fluid flush when I replaced the caliper. I use Archoil winter fuel treatment in the winter and their standard fuel treatment in the summer. I also add their oil treatment when I do a change. Only use motorcraft filers.

Starts every time. Keep it plugged in when the temp gets below 40 but I've started it with no block heater at 10 degrees. The electrical system has not been butchered in any way with no additional accessories added.

I would not hesitate to drive this truck across country tomorrow. It is a hoot rowing through the gears, listening to the turbo. It pulls excellently. The only towing I have done is a 14 foot dump trailer with gravel. Truck did great.

I have a ton of parts for the truck. Ford parts unless I couldn't get them from Ford anymore - f/r rotors, f/r calipers, all new brake hoses, rear axle bearings and seals, all coolant / heater hoses, perimeter door seals ($$$), lower door seals, new "glass" for instrument cluster, and maybe some other stuff.

Paint is in great shape. A few dings here or there, especially rock chips from rear wheels. clearcoat on hood is failing. Frame and suspension has surface rust but it is surface. Montana doesn't use salt on it's roads and the body is straight.

I have interior pics. Other than the driver's seat, with the small hole and the ciggie burns, I don't think it's in terrible shape. You can get seat foam and covers that come kind of close in terms of the fabric panel. Have not been able to find an exact copy. Can't remember the name of the company but they produce NICE seat covers, like $500 nice, that fits this configuration. I also have two NOS cluster covers - the clear plastic part. I've tried to clean the one currently on the truck but it's permanently clouded. Not sure if I mentioned this but I have replaced the pull out cupholder and I also replaced the multifunction switch with a new Motorcraft part.

Hello again, still interested in your truck but I also have looked at and driven another truck I like also. Problem (for me) is, they have another buyer waiting. I have to make a decision ASAP!

Hi Steve, I apologize for the delayed reply and the truck is still available. I'll give you a call tomorrow. I should be around all next week so showing the truck wouldn't be an issue for me.

Thanks for your interest!
