full long arms, disconnected front sway bar, lifted my gas tank 7" to improve rear clearance on steep descents, got a custom luggage/tool rack for the trunk space. cb for comm, 12v overhead light in the tailgate, exhaust manifold oven based off theksmith's design, yakima loadwarrior basket with spots front and back, optima yellow top deep cycle, k7n CAI with amosoil filter and pre-filter (it gets dusty down here) picked up a np242 transfer case the other day to swap out my 247 (full-time 4wd) so i can have 2hi, 2lo, 4hi, 4lo looking into having a winch bumper made as well as a full length roof rack. (wife's been bugging me about a rooftop tent) we do alot of camping, so i constantly have an inverter onboard...looking to hardwire a higher powered-one in, but that will be after i wire in a block to run everything off of; my battery terminal's starting to get crowded.
wife's looking into traveling nursing on the west coast. we have friends in seattle, so she's seriously considering there. if that happens, i'm auto-training her out to ride some logging trails.
why are the grands snubbed? if you maintain them, they're fine. also, about the high output v8, the only weakness i've personally found is the aluminum heads. (re-did the gaskets soon after purchasing due to a bad t-stat) if you overheat the least bit, then they warp. i'm running this one until it goes and getting something else in there.
but that's about it. if something strikes me, i'll think about doing it to the jeep. it's all about being user-friendly. that's all ive got. if you want more, be specific. i personally love my WJ, and am always on the search for a new daily driver so i can retire this one to family camper.
