If you are looking at this advertisement its highly likely you are very familiar with the Montero's off-road prowess and rich Rally history (See Dakar Rally). Sure, the Montero can be driven by soccer mom's or used as a daily driver, but anybody who is familiar with Montero's will tell you that these machines were built like a tank. They were built to last. I am very familiar with and have driven LandRover's, LandCruisers, Jeeps, FJs and 4Runners. The Montero is in the same class as any of these off-road legends. In fact, some would argue it is the best.
The first couple of pictures you'll see is with the 22" rims that were on the rig while my wife was driving it. I purchased some 16" OEM stock rims and put them on there instead after it became my daily driver. Neither one of us took it off-road. If you like the 22's, I still have them, but they are extra. The Montero will need some back tires pretty soon and the thermostat may need to be replaced. Also, I have been driving around with the check engine light on for the last 6 months or more. It is on because the fault code suggests the Montero needs a new intake manifold. Because it runs and drives fine without it and because I have another daily driver, I decided not to fix it. I have a ton of service history on this rig. From oil changes every 3k-5k to timing belt and water pump replacement, I have it all covered. If you would like to speak to my local mechanic about any issues, I can put you in touch with them.
