I am hunting around for a Diesel (I'll consider gas also) 4x4 van or full-size truck in good condition. I have two vehicles that I could trade....

DEAL PENDING ON THE TACO

2003 Taco 4x4 TRD.
XtraCab V6
114,000 miles
ARB Bull Bar
ARE Topper w/ windoors
3" lift via custom suspension (deaver rear, Icon front coilovers)
285/75/16 BFG AT's on Mojave Rims (approx 10K left on the tread)
White in color
Water pump and timing chain replaced @ around 85K. All work done by Safari LTD here in Grand Junction
I'm thinking 10K on the Taco

The truck runs flawlessy. We just spent 10 weeks on the road to the Fairbanks, Artic Circle and back. I'd jump back in it and do it all over again and not have any doubt in the truck.

260K+ on the chassis
Subie conversion from a '93 Forester
recently replaced tranny (unknown miles)
Propex Heater
sweet front bull bar
sweet rear bumper
OME Suspension w/ 2" lift installed last winter
new tent included (has not been installed)
Small Car Exhaust
Small Car engine cradle
Black 15" steel rims with BFG AT's that have 25K or so left on them.
The Syncro will run you 18K

Great truck, and would likely fetch more than $10k if you're patient. Very similar to mine, and with fewer miles and a newer year, but I wouldn't think of asking that little. It should move quickly at that price! :D Good luck!

(Tip: clean your interior prior to advertising. Gross. ;) )

Yeah, the interior is dirty right now. I got back from Alaska two nights ago. Two months living out of the truck makes for some serious clutter....

FYI: I pm'd Gary on Nov 3rd asking for a vin and about the frame but have yet to hear back (not even the complimentary someone beat you to it :( ). I know the Taco is pending sale from Friday, so just wanted to throw it out there. I am only posting this because occasionally people try to sell subpar vehicles and will not post a vin etc. to try and hide something, but I do not believe that would happen here as being forum which revolves around vehicles, I hope we would all run a vin 1st. I am sure Gary is fine, but as I do not know him, just wanted to get that out there to whoever the deal is pending with.

This is only a heads up, I am not sure how to post this without risking offending Gary, but would also feel bad had I not put it out there, and later hear someone had problems. Good luck with the sale.

Out of several PM's I received about the truck I apparently forgot to reply to Wiley's.

The Taco has been sold.

Cool. Like I said, low price and no vin info sometimes raises flags, glad to hear everything worked out for both parties involved.

If you don't mind can you let us know what it went for?
