I bought this truck about 4 years ago as my kids were getting to big for the Jeep I had. The truck checked every box and looked and ran great.
The guy I got the truck from bought it on impulse and the previous owner (a doctor out of Portland, OR) was very meticulous and a perfectionist type. He also had more money than sense. He buys a new rig and completely tricks it out, then sells it and buys something else. He moved on from the Ram and started building a 4runner.
The last owner took the truck to Plateau Diesel in Enumclaw, WA in 2019. They specialize in older diesels and have a good reputation. He paid $500 dollars for their 3 hour prepurchase inspection. They went over the entire truck, and everything checked out except for some minor parts. (New alternator, batteries and two new grid heater relays. I have the paperwork with their report).
Performance Diesel Authority here in Helena has done most all the general maintenance on the truck since I’ve owned it. They have checked it over for me on occasion and installed the new radiator hoses and batteries along with the addition of an Amsoil bypass filter system. They also flushed the transmission and installed new fuel filters for the truck. I have used Amsoil synthetic for the engine and have a full fuel and oil set for the next service interval. I recently had a new steering shaft, ball joints and tie rod end put in the front to tighten everything up there.
I am not sure there is a part that has not been upgraded on the truck. All the parts are top notch. I have receipts for some of the parts.
Inside the bed there are some minor chips in the linex bed liner and the power adjuster on the passenger mirror doesn’t work. There is some clearcoat peeling on the driver’s fender. Other than that, everything works and looks as it should.
I am listing for $33,500 obo. I have other cars that I use for commuting and general travels so this truck sits in my carport. It mostly gets used for longer distance camping/expedition trips.
No loan and have title.
Any other questions, videos, pictures let me know.
