Curious, do you guys build any side boxes out of aluminum or only steel? Have a project in mind... :)

Yes, we do.
Although, we do not have a "Product Line" of box sizes and configurations, we do have standard construction techniques that we use in all of our truck bed and box components.

We are, for the most part, a job shop that has developed/ and improved on a lot of cool products over the years....We have just never had the follow through to market any of it. So on that note, custom projects and designs are welcome.

Digging on this truck! I like the CL topper, plus you could probably even find an expensive adapter kit to set that on the ground in cases of extreme cocktail hour!

.

For sure! Haha!
Im lovin your Scout build, Rob. Great fab work.
I believe we have crossed paths back in the W.E.Rock haydays. Lol!

No new updated tech yet. Next on the list is 10-15 gallon potable water tank.

Nope, have the Skamper still. Just adding some other types of camping arrangements to the truck. The Skamper is not "Fast Attack" enough for me, meaning if I just want to load up my son and fishing gear for an over-nighter to the Sierras, or East Mojave, it is almost too much with the Skamper to load it unload pack it and all that crap for a quickie trip.

Skamper is great for a 3-4 day trip.

Did finally get around to a Mod that I have been wanting for a while...On Board Fresh Water.
I have 2 Scepter cans with ball valve spouts, but this is so much cooler! Pics, not in order.

The location for the tank is not where I originally intended it to go when I bought all of the parts.
The tank and pump were going to go in the stock spare tire location, but I was fearful of both getting weathered or damaged. When I got home with the parts, I started measuring and found that the tank would fit perfectly in the rear back corner box.

One problem, all the fittings would be facing up. Since these systems are made for the pump to draw from the bottom fitting, I needed to make a Stainless Steel draw tube so that the pump could pull from the bottom of the tank.

Hot water is not a priority yet, considering I live in the desert, and choose not to camp in frigid weather. I am sure that I will eventually add a water heater, but I can always have a remote unit draw from the fill neck.

Forgot to mention...

http://www.waltsrvsurplus.com/

Walt's RV is THE place to get all of the components you need for this system, well the plumbing I bought at Lowe's, PVC couplings and flexible sprinkler risers.

I was like a kid in a candy store at Walt's, kind of small but loaded with take off and surplus RV parts of all kinds. Tanks and pumps are brand new and a fraction of the cost of most online stores.

Walts, huh? Never been there. Gonna check it out for sure. Nice upgrades, ToolBox Guy. Now I gotta think of something to do to my rig to try to keep up with you.
