For sale is my 2004 Tacoma in "expedition white" :D

Specs:

2004 Toyota Tacoma
75,000 miles
3.4l V-6
5 speed
4x4 with a by-god floor mounted transfer case shifter!
SR-5, NON TRD :(
AM/FM/Cassette/Single CD, 6 speaker stereo
Yokohama Geolander AT-S tires in 235/85/16 with about 21,000 miles on them (50,000 mile guarantee from Discount Tire.)
Excellent condition overall

Extras:

Raven fiberglass shell/topper (I think - it's the same style as a Raven I had previously)
High-rise design is great for camping/sleeping/hauling
Fully carpeted liner inside shell
Sliding glass on shell (but not on the truck)
Newly installed artificial gutters on shell for mounting a Yakima or Thule rack

For ExPo only, I'll throw in the "truck tent" that expands the tailgate area of the camper shell. Also the custom built "shelf" in the back of the extended cab is more user friendly than the "seats" that don't really seat anybody (no permanent mods to the vehicle, though, the platform lifts right out.)

Here are a few pics, I'll post more:

Asking $14k or best offer. PM or email me at martinjmpr@yahoo.com

Please be aware this vehicle is still financed so if we agree to a sale price, assuming you are financing we'll have your bank work with my bank to transfer the title.

Any questions, PM or email. I'll keep this up until about 06/17 or so to see if there's anyone interested and then it will go on Craigslist.

Not meaning to hijack the thread - but that is an AWESOME idea for the cap to keep rain/dust out while camping if you have a bed setup in the back. I am floored I didn't think of this earlier given the amount of time and amount of bitching i've done about my rear glass dripping onto my bed setup and feet.

Any more pictures of that design would be great - feel free to PM me to keep thread clean. Time to dust off the 'ol sewing machine

Seems like such a simple solution. Though with my rack i'm not sure it would work -thus the sewing machine... Whats the catch, why aren't more people using something like this?

As far as the campmor version goes - is the fabric waterproof, it looks more like cotton then a "tent" material?

It's nylon, haven't camped out in any heavy rainstorms but seems to be waterproof as much as any nylong tent would be.

Truck tent

not to hijack, but I have the same one (it looks like)...
In the rain it leaks badly, just like a real tent when you touch the inside, it draws the water through... my problem in rain storms was where it rests on the lifted window, it leaked onto us... I solved it by putting a cheap tarp over the tent when rain threatens... works great now. I do like the tent and use it regularly (at least I did before my trailer)
