2004 Tahoe-verland

Are you running to spear tires?

No it's just when I got a matching 17x7.5" wheel instead of the 16x6ish spare I found out that the center bore of the wheel didn't fit with the factory hoist. Still trying to figure out what I want to do with all the open space under there now

First and foremost, welcome to ExPo, you have a great looking rig and we always like to see more full size trucks.

Tire carrier looks fantastic, but is it really worth $1,200 fantastic. But beside that, it does look pretty darn good and very clean. What are your plans for the factory spare location?

And as always we like pictures and adventures!

Thank you for the compliment Drei

$1200 fantastic? Ehhhh I'm not sure. I'd say $1000 seems fair. I got it on sale so with shipping and a t-shirt it came to be just a couple bucks over 1200. It does seem VERY well built and the two things I like that made me choose this over the Wilco carrier were the secondary tow rated hitch being in-line with the factory one and all the built in mounting holes for accessories in the future. Also the hitch spot for a bike carrier next to the tire is included compared to a $70 option on the Wilco

Currently don't have plans for the factory spare location but now that I think of it a water tank may be pretty cool. I'll figure something out if it's needed wether it will be gas, water, or air I'm not sure
