This is a legitimate 2005 Toyota Diesel D4D with 29,000 miles and a clean TX title. This is NOT a grey market vehicle or switched VIN truck. It is a legal and correctly papered truck with supporting documents from the US Govt and Texas. Needs to be restored.

$15k. Near Houston.

25 year rule - This truck is an enigma case but also legitimate with papers.

Not going to reveal the process to the masses in the unlikely event that another one comes along.

Happy to give full disclosure to the buyer.

The fact that you won't "reveal the process to the masses" just says it is a grey area truck. No one would go to the trouble to legitimately import this POS ********... I suppose it could be legitimate if it was used by the US government or military and auctioned off. If so, why would't you just say that? And 15k lolololol.

Sketchy, you can import a D4D Hilux from Asia for $6k- shipped, running and in okay condition. The grey import area is that this was probably brought into the country as a parts vehicle- so pretty much ship it in a container with the wheels off or hood off and then assemble it in the states as a project or kit car then re-vin or register the existing vin with the DMV. Also this isn't a 2005

You should stick to doing this with Nissan Skylines and RX7's instead of outdated d4d's. Lots more money to be made.

id say unless the seller could prove it's not a grey market or a changed VIN, as he has claimed, the ad should be removed. it's obviously not a 2005

this is a 2005 Hilux

Wow. $15,000 for that? I would be surprised if anybody would buy it for more than $5,000.

By the way, I am in Houston. Where is the truck so I can stop by one of these free days since one is stuck at home most of the time with nothing to do.

Let me know location so I can stop by when I have some free time from being super bored at home.
