The antenna in the cab with "WILSON" on it is the internal antenna for the Wilson cell phone amplifier/repeater.

Re: flashing emergency lights. In the majority of states I know of you'll be fine with the Amber strobes, but unless you're. First responder (fire or police depending on the state) the red strobes will get you in trouble.

Correct. It has a Wilson repeater.

I have no plans on using the red LED, may swap out to another amber.

I am ex-LEO but not currently attached to any responder or search & rescue organization. But I am looking into it.

Very interesting find; loaded .40 cal Sig Sauer magazine in the Warn accessory bag.

I've misplaces mags in a vehicle before (especially in a Crown Vic trunk) before but seems like a lousy place to do a tactical reload from... :coffeedrink:

A side gig I have, being former full time LE myself, is collision reconstruction. Working scenes in other states I've found that the local LE get weird with anything but Amber, even though I still have a shiny thing that says "State of Texas" on it. I know you know, just don't want to see a nice rig get cited because someone else got all excited.

Winch update: Installed new motor, ground cable and solenoid.

Some idiot ran the ground to the frame, instead of the battery. Poor ground fried the winch motor and solenoid. How difficult is it to run 2 simple cables to the battery? You're already running one there.

Generator update: Cummins NW replaced the carb and did a full service and adjustments. The old carb was beyond cleaning from sitting too long.

What an awesome find!! All the extras you got with the truck really puts this thing over the top! What is that red unit beside the oil?

The red pump is for the 4 five gallon jerry cans refueling station. It allows fuel to be pumped from each can without removing them. 20 gallons of aux fuel for any toys or for the truck, if bugging-out ;)

I have been doing some research on the truck. At this point, it appears to have been a search & rescue base station out of SoCal. Still searching though.

Thanks for the kind words and support.

Last week, got the driver and passenger windows tinted, 25% to match the factory Q-cab windows.

Today, I worked on service body storage clean up, designation and organization. Did I mention that I love service body trucks.
