I am looking for someone who would like to trade their 4th gen 4runner for my 2nd gen Tacoma.
About my truck:
2005 tacoma 2.7l 5spd 4x4 with 164k miles. About a year ago at 150k-ish miles it had the following work done at the dealer: NEW frame, Bilstein 5100 shocks and struts, ome lift springs, Ikon AAL lift in rear, exhaust system, brake lines, lower control arms, lower ball joints, drive shaft, wheels bearings, spark plugs, and a lot of fasteners/hardware replaced.
Over the last 10k miles I have installed Toyo Open Country LT265/70r16 tires on 2017 tacoma rims, DV8 winch bumper, led lights in front and rear bumpers, and led ditch lights.
Its completely rust free, it drives like a new truck, and it gets 20mpg or better on the highway. Ive really enjoyed owning it, but since selling my slide in camper and my dirt bike, I don't have much use for a pickup and I feel that I would be better off with a 4runner.
I am looking specifically for a 4th gen 4runner (2002-2009) with the 4.0 V6 (not the v8) with not many more miles than my truck, and in relatively good condition. Maybe this trade would entail a little cash added in either direction. I may consider other 4x4 toyota trades. Obviously, if you do not have a suitable trade and are interested in my truck, cash will also do the trick.
