What he said...

Wow, I really didn't think anyone was watching this. I've been busy with fall weekend warrior trips in my van and this was being woked on slow in the background. On top of that someone broke into my VW so I had to replace the window and took the occasion to sort out a breaking wire harness, on the VW.

The Volvo is done except for paint. I'll let it go for $6500 as it sits . 90,000 miles on it.

Will be asking about $7500 once I have paint on the corner of the hood, Aetherton Collision in SLC will be doing that work, and they are top notch. That number will depend on how much the bill is, but regardless I'll be listing locally for $8k OBO. Hoping to drop off for paint this week or next. Only that little corner of the hood needs paint if you are going minimalist, (which is my current plan). If you definitely wanted to fully replace the hood you'd be best to contact me quick because any paint work done will usually be warranted to the owner of the car at the time when the work is done....hence my doing minimum work before the sale and keep the sale price low instead.

Aside from short drives to keep things moving it's been in the garage ever since the incident so that unpainted aluminum has seen no moisture (I basically live in a high desert). Everything runs smooth and it has been on the battery tender. The Headlight is brand new TYC unit (this slowed me down as I received 2 units with failed adjusters). Seems they changed production techniques and used a different interface on the vertical adjuster that failed easily, as in before I even opened the box  so I ultimately eliminated that cheap, new garbage; I harvested the adjuster socket from my old unit and swapped it in. The fog lights are used from another XC but in nearly new condition, the bulb socket on the RF unit broke with the deer hit. I replaced both because the replacements I got were in better condition. The bumper cover has a crack, as is seen before, but I reinforced the back side of the crack with industrial adhesive. Someone could easily swap in a new/replacement bumper cover but I wanted to keep costs to minimum as well as sale price. This way the new owner can proceed as they feel fit but in the meantime the car is a solid 5 footer, aesthetics-wise, where the incident occurred.

Everywhere else, inside and out, the car is a 9.5/10. The pics at the beginning of this thread were taken at about 87k, car now has 90k and looks exactly the same everywhere, except, of course, that RF corner.

P.S. Snow tires are ready for installation.

P.P.S. Bad Swede lift (never used) is now available separately for $500 obo

I'll update pics soon

I slacked on interim pics. Repair work is all totally finished now, turned out nice. I'll attach some quick phone pics, the line you see across the front of the hood in the 2nd pic is a shadow, the whole hood was refinished. I haven't washed/re-cleaned up the car for full pics, but I can certainly photograph anything anyone is interested in. I'll be listing the car locally now around $8k,. Expo members will always get a deal. Bomber and stylish go anywhere/ski car at this price.

Bump. Need to move this car. Asking $7500. Accepting offers. Nokian snows are mounted and installed. Thule roof rack included.

Also still have the 2" Bad Swede Lift springs available separately or as a package deal. Sweet driving car. I'd love to keep it but I'm trying to streamline life and eliminate unnecessary, for me, stuff.

I have tried to contact you several times over the past week with no reply. I'm interested if you want to sell it.
