This is a copy of CraigsList ad. Mine. Located in Albuquerque, NM
Thanks for looking. I will sell camper separately, or truck and camper together. I will NOT sell truck by itself
Camper:
Wake up inside a cozy, spacious cabin up in the mountains. Grind coffee and make breakfast on a three burner stove, while looking outside through two large windows. There is no tent sides of a pop up camper, no ugly cabinets of a stationary slide-in. We are selling our 8ft Cabover Alaskan slide-in camper with front dinette, the most desired model of all of them. Camper is very well designed classic hard-side hydraulic pop-up. We have re-finished this camper with love and attention to detail, upgrading it with everything needed for overland travel.
Lower it by 2ft when driving for minimal wind resistance, keep the battery charged with 2 solar panels on roof, charge your devices and use appliances with a built in powerful inverter. Read in the evening with pleasant warm energy efficient lightning. Cook and wash dishes with running water. Bring your friends! (sleeps 4, but if it's just two of you, it's even cozier - don't need to move table/cushions)
List of upgrades include:
Replaced cabover interior panelling, roof panel, roof insulation (main area). door panels (birch and beadboard)
New paint throughout
New FanTastic electric fan / skylight
Re-upholstered cushions
New LED lights with upgraded warm color bulbs
New water tank (21 gallon)
New water pump/water lines
Custom-built lightweight aluminum roof rack with porch cap
2x100w solar panels, controller, Vmaxtanks 125ah brand new battery ($300)
Yakima SpaceBox
1100 watt 110v inverter with remote
Custom closet shelving.
New pirelli rubber all around
Everything has been sealed with best 3M marine grade sealer
New tongue and groove wooden floor
We have enjoyed the camper so much, but are moving on to a different setup. Comes with jacks. Delivery possible with non-refundable deposit.
Truck:
2006 5.9 Cummins RAM 2500
4x4, quad cab, long bed
New t-case, new southbend clutch (single mass, single-disk)
Re-built driveshafts
New ball joints
270K
Newer tires (7500 miles)
Firestone Air Bags in the back
Minor issues: small oil leak (front cover), fan clutch cable cut off (comes with new one, only affects AC when idling), cab is the most simple trim (no power windows, no power locks, no carpet - very cool cleanable vinyl).
It has been a ranch truck - has some dents which I never bothered to fix. It runs great though
tags: overland, alaskan, camper, camping, overlanding, slide-in, RV, motorhome, 4x4, slide-in, offroad
This is an amazing, very capable combo. We took it to Canada this summer and had a great time. Wife can't drive (stick) it and wants an automatic
$27K OBO for combo
