Maintainance:

Mar 2010 replaced f&r brakes
July 2009 replaced both CV axles
Dec 2008 Trans & Coolant Flush
Jun 2008 replaced EGR valve & CAC hose
These above are the "major" issues I've taken care of not counting regular fluid changes
The good:
Turbo diesel automatically makes it cooler than any other Jeep... for realz
Same trans fround in Dodge Ram
With exception of the obvious buggy trails, I've done most UT trails in this rig
21 mpg (26 stock)
Best looking, best built KJ in UT
Has a real t case with PT 4WD, FT 4WD & 4Lo
Turbo diesel
AC blows cold
Idles over most stuff on the trails
The bad:
Tends to run hot at freeway speeds going up grades in the summer. I've done everything I could think of short of adding a trans cooler.
Axle seal leak on pass side. Not bad but the area around the seal is wet
The winch might need a new controller
Windshield washer bottle has a hole in it
Winshield is cracked
The t case position sensor broke in Beef Basin over the weekend so even though you're in 2WD, the dash light shines "Part Time".
Rear PS window regulator doesn't work; window will not go down.
The Ugly:
Lots of rocky mntn pinstriping from being gangster. Our bodyshop says 90% of them can be buffed out.
I am selling this as part of a debt reduction plan. It was originally my company car that I kept in the divorce. I drove it 15 hrs per day, 3 weeks out of the month in all weather conditions in all of 2007 and I always got home. It's been through the highest altitudes The Rockies has to offer, to the hottest deserts in the US to the door-handle deep swamps of FL. Since then it has been my faithful DD.
Technically, the bumpers, armor and audio are already sold since I already have taken a deposit on them. The plan is to put it back to stock (lift, gears, DTT stay in) collect the rest of my $ for the parts and sell off the rig. If someone really wants the vehicle as-is it would save me the trouble and I would give my friend his $ back.
$12,999 as is
$9,999 back to "stock" (steel rear bumper no longer made)
