2006 Mitsubishi Montero Gen III Limited

FOR SALE: 2006 Mitsubishi Montero Limited

Location: Gilbert, Arizona

Reason for selling: I know I'm gonna regret selling this car but after long and careful consideration, I have to. I'm selling because circumstance forces me to now daily it, I also will be moving further away from my job...and with a longer commute, this car isn't economically feasible, especially with gas nearing $5 per gallon. I've owned the car since this February and put in all the work to get it where it's at from stock.

Description: It has a clean title with no accidents with the odometer reading at 195xxx miles. Cylinder heads were claimed to be rebuilt by the previous owner, the engine has no drivability issues.

Upgrades & maintenance:

Engine:
-Upstream Denso o2 sensors

Trans:

-New transmission mount & transmission cross member bushings

Suspension:

-OME EMU medium duty springs 1.5" lift
-Moog front strut tower/ rear strut mount bushings
-CV axles

Known Problems:
-Check engine light is on for post cat O2 sensors. They're new, but need to be replaced with OEM Denso 02 sensors (Bosch or any other name brand O2 sensor will not work, it will throw a trouble code).

-CV axles need to be replaced with OEM or better quality than the ones I equipped on the car, even though they're new. It's a discovered issue that aftermarket CV axles don't work well with a lift on this car. There's vibration only when in 4x4 like if the tires need balancing, it happens at freeway speeds. I know this will be the most concerning for prospective buyers so I will try resolving this issue when I have time. *ANY FELLOW MONTERO OWNERS HAVE USED OEM CV AXLES THEY CAN SELL ME PLZ PM ME*

-The body has dents , scratches, dings, and other imperfections.

Forgive me if I'm forgetting anything not disclosed in this post, I try to remember everything so please feel free to ask any other questions.

** Roof rack and cross bars not included with sale **

Are the CV boots torn? If so Mitsu sells reboot kits with grease
No, they're brand new. I ditched the OEM axles because they were clicking. Slapped the new ones on and now there's a vibration. This thread talks about it.

OP solves his issue by going back to OEM axles in post #30
