Calling all California Montero owners!
I have a 2006 Mitsubishi Montero and I’m trying to either clean or replace the catalytic converters (OEM part number: 1584A193). I originally had a P0174 code along with others, which I’ve since fixed—but I suspect it may have clogged the catalytic converters in the process (currently have a P0431 cel). I’ve already tried Cataclean, but unfortunately, it didn’t help.
I also can’t seem to find anyone who sells a California-compliant CARB catalytic converter for this model. Has anyone successfully replaced theirs with a compliant OEM part or aftermarket (CARB)
Where did you buy it from? Any tips on cleaning or sourcing a replacement?
