Nice new truck, I like the sound of the motor in the new Nissans... Hopefully this is in addition to the 4Runner??? You're not seriously getting rid of a Toyota for a Nissan are you???

Turns out the bank is having a hard time agreeing on numbers with the dealership.. I like the Xterra, but... Best case scenario i hand them back the Xterra, shred all the papers that went with that deal, keep the Altima with the current deal we have on it, and I keep the 4runner.
We'll see.

That's a bummer man... I know you were looking forward to the new truck, but look at the bright side: You have one of the most reliable 4x4's ever made right now, there are worse positions to be in ehsami said:

Well, you’ll be able to pay off the 4Runner faster than the X, so that’s a plus. AND you will still have a locker!

See that's the twisted part in this case.. I am hoping and praying that they say there's a problem.. That puts the dealer in a bad position. Hopefully ending up in a deal that only then includes the Altima, and the X is returned to the dealer. That way I keep the 4runner. I think that I can find hapiness in either rig. Both rigs have characteristics that i love, but obviously i'm more attached to the 4runner.
Anyways.. we'll see what goes down.
BTW.. ya, the sound generated by the X is soooo great..

I figured it was time for an update...
Installed IPF's from the 4runner..
All this just to get to the lower dash panel to install the switch... Crazy Japanese puzzle..
Spidertrax adapters wheel from 6x4.5 - 6x5.5 @ 1.25" thick These will cause even 285/75's to rub despite the 'melt-mod' on the wheel well. The trick with these is skinny tires, or perhaps more than 2"s of lift.
Top Gun Customs spacers, and AC shackles: 2" lift
Raingler half barrier is in.. 2 minute install.. all metal hardware.. Now the dog and gear will stay in the back when I want it to.
