2007 Furd E150. What should I do? Also, how do I remove this Geotab nonsense?

I bought an '07 E150 and kind of want to use it as a dual purpose work camping rig. First, I have to remove this Geotab crap. It's causing the van to not start. It's the older system that is butchered into the factory wiring, not the newer plug n play system. I'm looking for front fenders and a bumper to repair the front end. I don't think it will be hard to find the parts. Repairs should be pretty straight forward.

I got the Geotab system removed, along with a idle time limiting device, and a back up camera mirror. Someone did some hokey stuff to make the Geotab link through the idle time limiting device to shut down the van in case of theft. They did the worse thing and tapped into the ECM diode in the power distribution block under the hood with a 10 amp fuse. I replaced the diode with the proper Ford unit. The diode looks like a fuse but is limited to 1.5 amps. Whoever did that stupid stuff could have fried the ECM.

Now I'm onto trying to get my jammed rear door latch to open so I can fix the cables. I have a thread on this. Both cable balls are jammed down in the latch from a previous attempt to make repairs before I bought the van.

I kept working at it until I got the piece of cable to engage the latch and pop it open. I used a small pair of vice grips to pull the cable.

I talked to another body shop that said to grind those three round things that look like rivets. They said the metal plate should come off, and the latch can be pried apart until the only thing left is the inner latch that holds the door closed. The is just a matter of rolling the latch off the door pin.

Here is the parts I am using to make repairs, links below. My latch is still good and very easy to open after I cleared out the broken cable pieces. I'm doing all of my doors and replacing the furls (12 total) on the ends of the cables to prevent it from happening again. I'm also using dry lube inside the cables to keep them lubricated.

Here's a tip. If the door has an inner and outer handle, it takes two cables. The cables are different between the side doors and the rear cargo doors. If your van has barn doors on the side and the back, that's six cables that can break or jam up.

Amazon doesn't have the latch, but most parts stores can get it. It should come with cables and the rods. These parts should fit 1992-present.
