Thanks! Yeah, we really like it! Tows a 6500# car trailer better than my pretty stock 1st gen 5-speed Cummins (power-wise, anyway), gets ~20mph highway, and gets up and goes when needed! Just got back from towing my bike and a friend's track bike to Robinsville, NC and Little Switzerland, NC for a long weekend of riding. Did great, got close to 15mpg with a combo of switchback mountain roads and 75mph highway, with trailer.

I make that front bumper (and rear bumpers, and rock sliders, and oil pan skids, and radiator skids, and bent tube, and so on, and so on), thanks!

It's going to get a brush guard like the one I did on a customer's TB, but I'll have to get the bumper re-powdercoated, and this hammertone color had to be special ordered, so I'm not sure when that'll happen.

Super cool to see your transformation:Wow1: of this Trail Blazer from stock to sturdy 4 wheeling adventure vehicle. Your fabrication skills are excellent, as the bumpers and sliders are proof of that! Nice work Bartonmd, and keep us updated with LOTS OF PICS! Cheers, Chilli....:)

Thanks! It's not nearly as built as some Trailblazers/Envoys, but I think I've struck a good balance between offroad usefullness and on-road use. Still gets 20mpg on the highway (with the recent tune. It was getting ~18-18.5 with the stock tune), still tows a car trailer very well, and wheels reasonably well, given what it is.
