2007 Tundra Offroad/Mountain Biking Trip

Hey everyone, this is my first post and I actually have been checking out the site for a few months in preparation for the trip my wife and I took cross country. We traveled 5,300 miles. Went from Durham, NC as far west as Grand Canyon, AZ. We did some offroad driving and mountain biking. Anyone that is considering the new Tundra for an expedition vehicle, I highly recommend it. It was probably the most comfortable vehicle I have driven/ridden in (as far as long long drives).

Just some background on the truck:
-4x4 5.7 liter
-Kennesaw Mountain Accessories, Winch Bumper
-XRC10 Winch
-3 Hella Rallye 4000s
-Old Man Emu 2.5" HD suspension
-Viair Onboard Air
-Custom made rock sliders (actually needed these a few times)
-Custom made over the bed rack
-Yakima bike holders and Mega Warrior

Enjoy the pics! Let me know what you think.

Thanks! The bike is a Specialized XRC Pro. As for mods. I am looking at a few for now. A custom rear bumper, skids from Budbuilt, TRD supercharger (if the lotto works out for me), wet okoles. As always, the list is growing and will never end. ha ha.

Thanks everyone. We are planning another trip, hopefully this summer. We will make it more northern this time.

Supercharger? For the 5.7? Wow. I don't know what you'd do with that much power. :D

Break something and have a lot of fun in the process! The torque mgmt reflash takes a lot of the fun out so you can't break anything. Apparently there is a hesitation between 1st and 2nd. But 500 hp and 550 lb ft would be awesome in a truck that already does 0-60 in 6 seconds.

As for the bed rack. Here are a few more pics.

If I had an Tundra, it would be an access cab version.
Just the right size and I even love the color you bought.
Nice!!!:victory:

Me, too. I'm guessing by access cab, you meant double cab. I just got a flier from Toyota yesterday advertising a new '08 DC 4x4 w/5.7L for $23k. I think it was the stripped down version, but still, that's a good deal. So tempting.......
