F450 4x4 Full 4 Season Custom Camper. 80k OBO
All built by myself, I built it for me and my family, with the best parts I could find. I never planned to sell, but we have found ourselves some land and a cabin and the truck is just not getting used as much as I want to see. We are still skiing out of it, but summer use has been not much. Its always kept plugged in, heated a little and started weekly at a minimum. I took a lot of time to design the space as best I could for maximum useability with a lot of attention to winter use. It is a true 4 Season camper. I put a lot of energy and love into this truck.

Truck is configured for a 20A plug, I wanted to be able to plug in anywhere a typical house plug is. The charger can throttle from 5-a lot of amps, I just set it at 20. Main lead would need to be re-run if a higher charge speed is desired on 120v. Power connection is in drivers side tool box.

Pros:
Pretty well built for a family. Two permanent beds, and nice interior volume when its inclement weather. 7'6" ish interior height.
No soft sides.
Drives really well. Its 25’ long bumper to bumper.
Cons:
Its been well loved. Misc little things here and there.
Door had a water leak at one point, I was planning to trim out to cover it, inerior walls at 100% non structural.
Needs rear tires (they have good tread, but getting old, fronts were replaced)
Rear springs could be redone.
Wrap is showing its age (it’s a black cab and white box underneath)

- 2008 F450 Crew Cab Chassis, stretched 36” 159,018 Miles.
- 6.4L turbodiesel. 63k Miles on new long block. Deleted 6k miles after new block install.
- Rotella always for oil changes.
- 4x4, Dana Super 60 front axle, Dana/Sterling 130 rear with LSD.
- 19.5” Hutchinsion aluminum super single wheels. Including spare. (8 wheels total)
- 285/70R19.5 tires.
- Kelderman Air ride front suspension.
- Fox remote Resi 2.5” 2 way adjustable front shocks.
- Custom Atlas rear springs with air bags.
- Bilsiten 5100 rear shocks.
- Hotchkiss Solid 1 ¼” rear sway bar.
- Puma On board air compressor with 1 gallon tank.
- Buckstop Outback 2 front bumper.
- BD front light bar
- Rigid SAE Fog Lights
- Set of tire chains included.
Body/Living Space:
- All aluminum body by Tri-Van. Entire Skin is 1/8” aluminum with ribs every 12”
- Barn doors on rear, allows access to exterior storage, under bed storage as well as open air to the lower bed.
- Two full time beds, both queen ish sized, one is ~3” skinner. One at lower level, one in cabover. Lower bed lifts for full storage below.
- Full time dinette.
- Crawl through gasketed to cab.
- Dual pane glass windows.
- All interior is birch Plywood. Cedar on ceiling. Some welded steel framing at back wall and bed frame.
- Exterior rear storage, separated from interior. ~16” deep 8’ tall, 36” wide.
Electrical:
- All electronics are Victron. All wiring is tinned marine wire. Factory dual alternators.
- Victron Color control for main controls (plus App and remote access via Wifi)
- 00 Wire from starting batteries to house batteries for charging while driving. Starting and camper batteries are fully isolated.
- 500AH Full River AGM batteries. (4 6v in series)
- Victron 3k inverter charger.
- Victron 100/50 Amp solar controller
- Victron Cerbo Gx Computer and water tank sensor.
- LG Neon 2 365w solar panel (room for more and wires to roof are oversized.)
- Mofi Wifi router, with large external antenna.
- All LED lighting throughout.
- Blue Sea temperature sensors in cab and habitat.
- 120V outlets below sink/fridge area, at dinette and one up high on wall (was thinking microwave up there)
- 12v outlets at dinette. USB at main level bed, kitchen area. A lead is run to upper bed area also, but has never been connected.

- Webasto 3500W diesel heater. Separate 2.5 gallon tank in rear (exterior) I have always run Jet A/Kerosene for cleaner burning.
- 2 Maxxfans, covered with in/out. One in kitchen area, one above main level bed.
- 30 Gal Fresh Water (inside, does not freeze in winter). Exterior fill and drain. Float level sensor tied to Victron Color control.
- Isotherm Drawer Fridge 12v/120v
- Propane Dometic 3 Burner stove
- 30lb ASME propane tank with gauge.
- Propane on demand hot water heater.
- Bullfinch outdoor shower.
- Microwave
- Stainless sink with pull out sprayer.
- 6 Gallon Grey water jug under sink.
- RV toilet with 17.5 Gallon Black tank. (no water connected to toilet to save fresh water)
- All walls are Polyiso spray foam insulated.
- Stairs are “truck camper style” Store in the pass side tool box just ahead of the entry door.
- RV Lock electronic keypad access.
