For Sale: 2011 Toyota Tacoma TRD Off-Road – 207k Miles – $18,500
Vin: 5teuu42n89z634403
Location: Minneapolis, MN
I’m considering parting with my 2011 Toyota Tacoma TRD Off-Road. I’ve invested a lot of time and money into this truck, and it’s been a joy to own. However, I’m looking to switch to a full-size truck for work and a 4Runner for daily driving and recreation. As a mechanic/fabricator, I custom-built the flatbed and bumper, and I’ve performed all modifications and maintenance. I have owned the truck since around 170k miles.
Key Features:
Custom Aluminum Flatbed with removable bedsides and tent rack
Custom Aluminum Winch Bumper equipped with a Badlands 5500lb winch and synthetic line
Overland Vehicle Systems Nomadic 4 rooftop tent
Amber LED spots and LED ditch lights
Steel Rear Bumper integrated into the frame
2” Lift with Eibach Pro-Truck Stage 2R suspension and Icon Add-A-Leaf
TRD Pro Wheels with 265/75R16 all-terrain tires (about 60% tread)
Aftermarket Stereo
Faux leather seat covers
All-weather floor mats
Window visors
Condition:
The truck runs and drives great and is mechanically sound. The body is free of rust, although the original frame did show some surface rust that you would expect on a Tacoma frame. I’ve wire brushed off as much rust as I could and coated the frame with black cosmoline to protect it from rusting further I am am working on cleaning the mud off the frame to re-coat before it goes to the new owner, as well as doing lower ball joints, the A/C compressor clutch, and serpentine belt/tensioner. I personally like the madmax look of the raw aluminum, but I admit it may look more polished with the bumper and flatbed painted with black bedliner. If the buyer prefers black, that could negotiated. I also may replace the faded headlight housings.
You are not going to find another Tacoma like this, and you couldn't build one for less than the $18,500 that I am asking. Thanks for looking, and let me know if you have any questions!
