2010 Ford E350 van report

I rented a Ford E350 van for a trip recently. I was given a 2010 model with the 5.4L V8 and 1500 miles on the odo. With 10 people on board, the truck averaged right at 14 mpg for 450 miles of driving. The van was considerably quieter than other E350s I've driven. The vehicle handled well, but would benefit from stiffer shocks.

That's good mileage. I've driven a 2008 F-150 with the 5.4 and it was a dog. That's why Ford's releasing the 6.2 liter V-8 to address that issue.

10 people is a lot of weight for those shocks but it seems like all factory shocks are on the soft side.
