I read that before. I was right. They are the same. Ok cool. I think I'm going to go stu's to get extra capacity. I found a set of white flush mount LED lights like I have for the back of the JK. I am going to mount them for reverse lights on the pat. blend into the bumper nice. I can't wait to see your rig with the springs and wheels on. should be awesome.

Yeah you would definitely benefit more from the stu's.

Man I wanted to do that as well with flush mount leds for years now. It started with my 2004 xterra. I could never see in reverse despite the cree reverse bulbs, I also wanted work lights but I also didn't want to run wires to the roof. That carried over to my Montero and now the riot. Heres the ones ive always wanted.

You could just tap into the reverse wire and use a relay....you might not even need a relay but...I would also want to run a switch to the cab so I could use them as work lights.

I am using double switch, off, on and turn on with reverse. should be pretty cool. I have a set on my JK. I also mounted a 6 LED light on my 3rd brake light on the JK for camping light.

Thanks man, im stoked about the new wheels and a lift. I can't get it in until next Thursday for the lift so its gonna be a week of being anxious lol. I would attempt it myself but I just don't have anywhere to work in this weather.

I got a buddy that just opened his own shop so hopefully he can beat the $260 price that I was quoted from another shop. I see those videos of people swapping out their springs and they have their hands all inside of it while its compressed and im like cringing my teeth waiting on someone to loose a finger lol.

He better give you a better deal...ha ha. I know...I swapped to lowering springs on my 2000 integra when I had it. Did it with two screwdrivers and a rag....NUTS!

Ouch Kojack lol! That just sounds like it would be painful. Yeah man my buddy is gonna do it for $250 on monday!!! Whoop whoop! Tomorrow I am gonna do my pinch weld and melt all the plastic my heat will allow lol so hopefully the wheels will fit pre lift and fit amazing post lift.

Oh man, other than breaking a hand thats the next worst case scenario lol.

Man i'm stoked to get started on this today. Its gonna be close to 70 degrees and sunny...unfortunately I. Had to come into work for a few hours and I will be here until 12pm...lame!

Special update!

Finally the weather broke and it was 66 degrees outside! Time to get some work done!

Pinch weld mod done!

Melt mod done! ...no pics though, I forgot to take some lol! Lets just say the first one was kind of a hack job...and it might be in my best interest to find some inner plastics at a pick and pull and start again lol. The second one...not so bad.

During this whole process i managed to Bedline my rear bumper guard. ..I think thats what its called...

I did notice a little rub when I hut a bump but a lift will cure that...hopefully
Other than that it runs nice and smooth! I'm really happy!
